3 H's garden makeover
Han finally gave me some pics of her backyard trasformation. They took it from an awkward little area to something totally functional and beautiful, the space seems double the size! I love her choice in chairs and the beginnings of a green wall along the back fence. Aren't Lola and Muffin the perfect models? I can't wait to share the photos of her home once the final renovations in the kitchen are finished - it's a beauty!
7 {vanity}
i LOVE having a BFF that is also a very talented photographer, because when i get tired of looking at my ugly mug she can make me look half decent. last week when we did a shoot at alice's place (look out for it in the next issue of adore home magazine) she took some shots of me too, which do you like best? i think i kind of look like a news reader in the pink...

8 heavy shelf work

han and i spent some time last saturday styling her brand spanking new bespoke shelves. she has some more things arriving to slot in but i think this is a pretty good start! i love all her coral and her freedom spaghetti gold side table (bottom left).
another new addition to her home is her Italian Greyhound called Lola (i call her lolly for short). she weighs 350 grams and bounces around like bambi trying to find her feet, she is exquisite!

7 hannah/office
hannah has nearly finished her office in her new home and has very kindly given me some 'sneak peek' photos for me to share with you all. i particularly love the chair from dellis furniture and the missoni for target throw she picked up on ebay for a song. the huge desk was a find on gumtree and the lamps she inherited from yours truly (i found them at vinnies - i told you i should be a picker!) she has put it all together beautifully, i love the little pops of colour!
han found these old books at the salvation army last week and the mirror is also from dellis - can't wait to see more han!

2 black and cream obsession/guest post by hannah
when claud asked me to guest on peep i wasn't sure what i would post about, claud asked me to focus on my wardrobe (i have a whole bedroom devoted to it! and a very understanding fiance for that matter) and soon realised there are a few themes, the most prevalent was black and cream folowed closely by prada and her little sister miu miu. it's funny how you don't realise your fixations until you take stock. perhaps i don't actually need that new celine phantom as much as i thought...

a few shots from my hens on saturday night. my beautiful (and talented) friend nikki g hosted us at her amazing apartment in potts point for dinner and drinks. thanks so much to all my girls for coming to celebrate with me and for bringing lot of french for me to drink! and a huge thanks to lucy and alice for commissioning such a masterpiece of a cake - are you impressed? maybe disgusted?

5 curl curl house/living - kitchen
another team claud and hannah project, me styling and hannah taking the photos - enjoy!
this is the heavenly home of my partner's cousin, his wife and their 4 adorable kids. it's like a giant luxury villa, there are louvre windows encasing the whole house so there is a constant breeze flowing through and it's all marble, stone, sandstone and glass. they used interior architect susannah esdaile (who is a close family friend of mine and she did my parents house) who did an INCREDIBLE job, utilising every space available for storage and function but making it look really chic and minimal. then there is the fact that the owner obviously has amazing taste, and what's nice to know is that she is a bargain hunter, sourcing everything herself, making it all look so damn good must have been alot of work!

when hannah was sending me through the shots of her house she included this one, i assumed it was one she did for one of her food books, she assured me it wasnt and sent me the iphone pic as proof! could you get better composition in a picture? so clever my H. here's the proof (oh and the pooch is mimi la rue)

i have been hounding hannah for ages to take some shots of her place and she finally caved - mind you 6 shots is less than i would have liked, ahem. hopefully if she buys her new house (fingers crossed!) she will let us in for a much bigger look-sy. my favourites are the yellow shots, such a bright welcoming colour especially with summer round the corner. thanks h

4 menu
a little sneakery peekery at the menu for my wedding created by some random girl. the map is of new zealand (where we will be married) and the heart is where queenstown is. cute! it will be a double sided print done hopefully at the distillery letterpress. we had our wedding invites done at the artisan press but they are in byron bay, if i had known the distillery existed we would have gone there as they are only 5 mins from my house. regardless, artisan press did an amazing job which i will share with you soon (i have been waiting for them to be sent out before sharing and they went out last week) so stay tuned...
