This leather Miu Miu was purchased at the Corner Shop in Sydney. It is in great worn condition with no major flaws, just a few marks. Comes with original dust bag. Sell price $395

4 dylan kain

i was first alerted to this new aussie label Dylan Kain via the ever more useful instagram, it was love at first sight. i needed wanted a smaller bag (so i don't get scoliosis from mr wang) but never found anything that fit the bill, until now. meet the rodriguez (above), perfect size, colour, shape, a few shoulder strap options and it fits all my essentials in very neatly. I got mine with silver hardware as I don't wear yellow gold much (I'm a rose girl through and through) from a beautiful boutique on South Dowling street in Surry Hills called Desorde. they also stock this little beauty below called the wax, it was a toss up between the two but the rodriguez won because of the option of the leather strap (the metal won't tarnish as much with less skin contact) he has lots of lovely bags and accessories which you should check out here

Jules bought me an alexander wang emile last week with tax return money (so it doesn't really count) 

new reads: inside out, AD spain, vogue paris (i know, late again) and aussie vogue

i got a delivery from mamma & the cool, very excited to share this one with you later

i got myself a pack of melty misfits and plan to get a bunch more to try complete the set (and win the one and only golden ticket!)

i also got my new cire trudon 'sinbad the sailor' candle from serin cini, it is my new heaven scent - the perfume of warm sea, lichens, white musk and ginger. i don't know how i'll bring myself to burn her!

when claud asked me to guest on peep i wasn't sure what i would post about, claud asked me to focus on my wardrobe (i have a whole bedroom devoted to it! and a very understanding fiance for that matter) and soon realised there are a few themes, the most prevalent was black and cream folowed closely by prada and her little sister miu miu. it's funny how you don't realise your fixations until you take stock. perhaps i don't actually need that new celine phantom as much as i thought...

2 deadly ponies/mine

i got the deadly ponies bag i was lusting after - it's a little more structure than i am used to but holds a heck of a lot of booty (more than i need in fact). i thought it came with a longer strap but it doesn't, so i may have to do a little addition at the cobbler. it's a beautifully made bag and i am very pleased as i have been after a black bag for a while now. also, another highlight of the day was vogue arrived! obsessed with the cover...

2 goodbye friend

i decided that balenciaga needed to be retired for a while, despite having had an extreme makeover last year, she really is getting on and the handles are slowly disintegrating. so welcome new zara bag! it was only last week that i did a post on it so i am very excited about having a new bag, i haven't bought an everyday-er for years. it is super roomy and slouchy, i just hope i don't get over the studs.

while in the city i also walked in to aesop in and a very pretty man told me what kind of skin i had, raved about my brows and then loaded me with samples and recommended i bought the camellia nut cream so i did. there was lots of talk about parabens and free radicals and some other things which i didn't really listen to, i told him 50% of my decision to buy the stuff in the first place was because of the packaging! (i don't think he liked that much...) i love when i can tick things off my to buy list.

5 bag/prada/saffiano/black/gold/double zip action

i was in prada last weekend with hannah looking for my wedding shoes (found them in miu miu in the end but of course they were sold out in my size and of course i couldn't even find them on shopstyle! so the search goes on) when both hannah and i fell in love with this bad boy (pictured). it's so delicious and big but it's also $2500. i tried to convince hannah to buy it saying she'd be a fool not to snap it up immediately and that she deserved it and hadn't bought a significant bag for ages so i could get vicarious pleasure, but she didn't capitulate and ever since i have seen this bag on mass, even one in the lift in my apartment building - i was staring so much she hid it from me and turned the other way (good move). 

perhaps i can put it on our wedding registry? (joke, AHS)...

1 celine + comme + constance

it was a green crocodile hermes constance that first got me thinking about a smaller bag. then came the celine box bag that costs a squillion clams, mind you, so does the constance, and then came the friendlier celine zip clutch. this would have been a purchase had i lived anywhere other than australia because a. it's inaccessible and b. it's marked up by like 60% so i was thrilled when comme des garcons brought out it's core range of wallets etc in the exact shape size as the celines! i snapped up a 

deep red bad boy for $133! it is a squidge smaller than the celine but has the barely there gold script and is structured and soft at the same time. i think i will have to be content with my comme-y for now until my beau wins the lotter-ary and buys me a conn-y!
