0 a little leopard

pic from Lonny Magazine via here

I saw the most perfect upholstered X bench driving past the Salvo's last month but when I went back to get it of course it was gone. Me being me, I had already reupholstered it in leopard in my mind and it was sitting sweetly at the side of our couch, so now I MUST FIND ANOTHER. I have been searching to no avail, I think my only option is going to be getting one made. Obsessed

4 i've always wanted...

...a leopard print coat, how greedy for one lady to have 2 perfect specimens! (left is a joseph and right is celine) ideally i would like to find one in a vintage store so it looks well worn, but would i actually wear it is the question? maybe i could use it as an accessory in my wardrobe to just stare up and at and admire?

new from alexander wang via net-a-porter - swoon, and speaking of leopard bags, i am also rather partial to these jerome dreyfuss options from farfetch, the billy, the carlos and the twee mini. shop them here.

i knew this would happen! once i got one new bag i would start wanting more...

3 a combination and a farewell

pics: stockholm streetstyle, jakandjil

some heavy neutral work for your perusal - today i find myself in black and neutral and i thought to myself how much i liked this combination. on a more serious and painful note - i got a call from miu miu yesterday saying there had been a mix up and my wedding shoes were not available anymore, i politely asked why and she said there was a mix up in in italy and my size was no longer available anywhere in the world. she said she begged and pleaded knowing they were my wedding shoes but there was nothing they could do...she then asked if i had tried net-a-porter...does she really think i would pay retail for these shoes in australia if i absolutey didnt have to!? i replied that i had tried net-a-porter, and shopbop, shopstyle, mytheresa, barneys, bluefly, yoox, nordstrom and saks - miu miu sydney store, you were a last resort...she vowed to send me pictures from prada and miu miu until we find the perfect shoe but i dont think that will happen in a hurry. so it's goodbye dream shoes, we were obviously never meant to be...

0 leopard

if i had to rank my prints and colours in order of love, at the top would be pink but coming a close second would be leopard - not the garish kind, the blink and you'd miss it kind. whether its a cushion, a scarf, a clutch or a book i loves me some leopard. the incongruity is though, my wardrobe is a sea of grey, denim and cream, everything else belongs on my alter ego self!

i have this bag and i freakin' love it but i don't use it very much, which is pretty dumb of me. i always go for the biggest, slouchiest bag that can be carried over the shoulder and chucked on any surface without me caring. if i do carry this beauty out i worry about the calf hair rubbing off or red wine being spilled on it. unusually for me, this bag has stood the test of time (i don't have much of an emotional attachment to my attire), it has been over a year and it hasn't been sold on ebay which generally means it's in for the long haul, but come to think of it, i thought the same thing about a gold comme des garcons jacket i bought at a Belinda sale and after 3 years of non wear-ity i
let her go, so who knows?
