Major furniture crush, it's the Shimmer table from Glas Italia (available locally at Space Furniture) made with iridescent glass panels. They remind me of Gemma Smith's sculptures. Wouldn't it look oh so perfect with a concrete backdrop and some genius shaggy rug for contrast? I'm already decorating a whole room around it.

A little quilt goes a long way in my book, have you seen the covers available for the Esbjorn chair at IKEA? Above is the Barnaby chair manufactured by Sancal available at Ke-Zu in Australia, then there's everything from Ligne Roset (below)

all this quilting makes me wanna buy some fuchsia pink seat pads for my dining chairs, then there's all the lovely quilt-y fashion I'm missing out on because my tummy is TOO big to slide into those grey chevron sweaters and more. See? interiors are always so much kinder than fashion now-a-days.

I have been wondering how Jules can add some of his personality into the nursery (obvs pre approved personality) and I think I have literally found the perfect item. If you visit me on a regular basis you may recall I hyperventilate when I can't handle how good something is, this is one such time and the best part is it comes from AUSTRALIA, you little beauty! It's the Bucket Table by Kate Stokes from Melbourne company Coco Flip. Concrete and brass and hidden compartments. It's insane and I'm in love. I feel like all my other furniture can go to hell and I can just have this one table in my home. Agree?

This is the New York chair by Saba Italia. Imagine slamming yourself into one of these at the end of a long day. This chair absolutely chooses comfort as well as style, it's almost a little cocoon like. Of course the Hermes orange gets me every time but scroll down to see the blue velvet, sigh

I'm having one of those days where I fantasize about winning the lottery or stumbling across a large suitcase full of money which I don't report to the police. My first stop would be to the airport of course but afterward (after I buy my house) I would begin to fill it with delicious things from Italy and the like, those things you see in Elle Decoration and hope someone will replicate down the line a little cheaper. Italian quilted chairs, concrete walls and floors, modernist coffee tables from obscure designers flanked by Paulistano chairs in buttery tan leather, shagreen salon desks, Marc Newson's dressing table for Cappellini, interesting desk lamps like this one by Nightwood, chain link porcelain from Hermes and oh so much more! What's on your lust list?

I saw these tables flicking through AD on the plane home from Hawaii, they are the designs of Clemens Weisshaar and Reed Kram called Multithread. "The design of each piece of MULTITHREAD furniture begins with a set of horizontal surfaces positioned in space: table top, shelf, desk, etc. A web of thin connecting bars is defined to support these surfaces. Then a custom software created by the designers analyzes, modifies and paints the structure based on the forces passing through it. The final form and colour of every joint is a direct representation of the energy it supports" Freakin' amazing...

Canalside Interiors has caught my eye in a very severe way (thank you Instagram). Canalside creates traditional furniture with a twist. Take these French Commodes, totally reworked to fit a fashion conscious girls abode. To say I love these is an understatement, I have already mentally placed a custom order.

I saw the most perfect upholstered X bench driving past the Salvo's last month but when I went back to get it of course it was gone. Me being me, I had already reupholstered it in leopard in my mind and it was sitting sweetly at the side of our couch, so now I MUST FIND ANOTHER. I have been searching to no avail, I think my only option is going to be getting one made. Obsessed

God I love having readers send me things! The lovely Alyssa sent me some links to a great DIY - the Mongolian fur stools that are popping up everywhere. Preciously Me created her very own piece of luxe seating using IKEA and a cushion cover et voila! Here is her masterpiece

There are those gold dipped legs I love! I am going straight to Target to get me some fur this afternoon so watch this space

Regency Distribution has brought the World's Away designs to Australia - how. bloody. exciting. Finally something different to what's currently on offer here in Australia. For me, I need to really restrain myself and make sure I don't go on gold overload, just a few little accent pieces like the Stephan floor lamp or one of these gorgeous stools above.
