1 lindsey adelman {lighting}

"Lindsey Adelman designs and produces lighting in Manhattan. Inspired by structural forms found in nature, as well as the visual tension that results from mixing hand-blown glass with machine-made metal parts, her signature chandeliers  have made her one of the most in-demand lighting designers in America"

I have been dying to use her lighting for ages and I might just have found the perfect project for it! My favourites are the Agnes chandelier (above), the totem pendant (below), and the curiosity objects (below below), view the full range here

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this is my dream kitchen. I feel heart palpitations looking at its perfection. Not one thing I would change. FAR OUT! The man responsible is Frenchie Rodolphe Parente, click on him to read about his vast CV and peruse his other insanely beautiful spaces.

1 interior designer {ryan korban}

I did a post on interior designer Ryan Korban in 2011 and thought it was high time for a revisit. He is a man after my own heart with an obsession for the decorative object including fancy ashtrays (the difference being his are full of cigarette butts). Since then he's been featured on The Coveteur, has designed both the Balenciaga and Alexander Wang New York stores (and Alexander's home) and he has published a book this year called Luxury Redefined. Click here to read his response to 12 questions via Town & Country Mag and enjoy the room porn!

2 the professionals {artist: david renggli}

I met this artist David Renggli while scrolling through Arent & Pyke's insta feed, the colours are what immediately grabbed my attention. I am obsessed with large scale abstracts at the moment and have envisioned whole rooms around David's work. This is something I would be thrilled to have hanging in my dining room. His Drums, please! 2012 exhibition is my favourite so far (click-ety click to take a look) and while I was day dreaming the other day about a concrete house filled with nothing but Dinosaur Designs I decided that this is the only artwork that would provide colour to the space - absolute perfection!

1 the professionals {herve van der straeten}

New discovery for me: Herve Van Der Straeten. Found while googling huge mobiles, case in point above in his living room. This confirms my intuition about having a mono colour mobile akin to the one in Mecca Cosmetica. While perving on the rest of his home this pink room (below) screamed out to me, I am really feeling monochrome. Then delving even further in I discovered he is the designer of the lamps in the bottom image - WOW! Herve first became known for his jewellery creations but now concentrates on furniture and lighting, lucky us

0 the professionals {artist amy joy watson}

South Australian born sculptural artist Amy Joy Watson clearly appeals to my whimsical (and faceted) side. The 26 year old's work has been shown around Australia and has won her awards and scholarships. Her 'very, very handmade' work is a direct response to being able to get anything manufactured out of anything - very nostalgic and very beautiful! For more of her work visit her website

Yes, yes I know, second day in a row discussing the virtues of Spanish artist/designer Jaime Hayon, I can't help it! He's a genius. Today I will give you a fuller picture of his work, starting with this unfathomable bathroom concoction above. Followed closely by the Tudor chair below

Then there's the Baccarat crystal

but my absolute favourite is the Showtime chairs for BD - just look at that pale pink and white in the middle! Insanity

Let's take a closer look...

1 the professionals {sally wheat}

I love nothing more than when Instagram delivers you a beauty of a follow you never knew existed but is SO good it's like christmas. That's what it was like discovering Sally Wheat, a Houston based Interior Designer. Her home is what I dream of and her work even more inspiring, this girl's got pattern and layers down pat.

0 the professionals {bill sampson}

Being an avid 'The Block' viewer who loves to cringe at their bad taste and gets over joyed when they make good designing decisions I was palpitating over the art Kara and Kyle chose for the hotel room challenge this week. The artist is Australian Bill Sampson, one who is "Using and abusing a technique known as marbling, Sampson pours thin skeins of paint onto the skin-like surface of water then lets the paint take over, spooling in all directions with reckless assertion; little motors of churning colour." Click here to read a candid interview on ArtsHub and here to view more of his work at MARS gallery
