2 a few excitements

a few little excitements occurred over the last week. numero uno was seeing the shoot hannah and i worked on in home beautiful magazine

numero duo was being pinned for the second time by the coveteur (the shoot from my place with hannah and adore home magazine, bedroom top left)

then i was asked to shoot the inside of someones wardrobe whose style i really admire, hint hint above (can't wait to share that one with you)

LE BLOG is getting a makeover - LONG overdue i know

and finally...we booked a holiday to hawaii in september - YAY!

9 the collective

so, something rather exciting happened some weeks ago, i was approached by Cosmopolitan magazine to become a part of their Cosmo Collective group of bloggers on their soon to be relaunched site. to say i was flattered is an understatement, i am very excited to be able to be a part of something like this so please let me know your thoughts when it's live (which of course i will broadcast to you all)

now this is a part of my personality that everyone who knows me can attest to, i love 'getting shit done' i am hyper organised and efficient so being a part of Mimi + Meg's GSD (get shit done) series was the perfect fit. i was so excited and honored to be a part of it (thanks meg!) click on over here to read the post!

1 oh snap!

so as i was about to walk up the road for a meeting i heard a whopping smack of thunder then it poured for about 10 minutes and just as i thought i would have to drive up the sun came out, i walked outside and it had dropped about 5 degrees in temperature, a delicious autumnal snap! in honour of this, please enjoy my new header, i will be rotating peeps header pretty regularly now as someone whipped me up a batch of freshies (TY HB)

13 my place: desk restyled/adore home magazine

when Loni from adore home magazine approached me to do a shoot in my apartment i was so flattered, and it meant i had some motivation to do something new with my office. i was inspired by my collection of vintage penguins, the pinks, orange and yellows and my hermes scarf which has similar colours. click here to read adore mag and peep a few shots from the mag below

4 my place: adore/office

so excited today! the adore home magazine feature on chez moi is out. it's so weird seeing your own house in such a public place but Loni makes it look so so good i couldn't be more proud! thank you so much for the opportunity to be featured in your glorious magazine. oh, and by the way if you have a peep at the last page you may see something else a little familiar coming out next issue...

2 my place: wow!

as i was reading the dec/jan issue of adore home magazine i got to the end and saw this!!!! they are doing a teensy little bit on me and my office. so you MUST give it a read. i will post as soon as its out - thanks adore!

5 my place: my desk is popular

my desk has been popping up all over the place. most recently over at casa sugar, the lennoxx and net-vignette. now, unfortunately this means i am kind of over her current look and need a change. my hermes is back from the framer so this is a great time to give her a new look!
