1 lounge room

The most important room of the house for us as it's the first thing you see when you walk in the door. Luckily the TV is not the first thing you see, it's hidden behind a corner, so we get to fill the prime wall real estate with goodness. This photograph was above our bed in our old place and I loved how it looked with the bedside lamps and wanted everyone else to enjoy it too so I have moved them out to the main room. Helmut Newton's Sumo comes with it's very own perspex stand and gets it's first proper display here, along with my Mamma Tuppy bespoke name plate, a shark jaw from Thailand and a delicious Baies Noir (a first burn wedding gift)

The view sitting on my couch, everything should be hung by this weekend, no more leany leaners. God Jules is good to me allowing so much pink!

Thanks Jack for my molecular model, she fits so nicely on the coffee table next to some Dinosaur Designs

1 bedroom

The bed looks so much better below unmade! It's all about the linen, I am literally OBSESSED with my Cultiver bed linen, we don't have heating in our place yet and this linen makes it so warm and cosy we don't even need it. Jules and I have this thing where we are really quiet when we first get into bed so we can hear 'the noise' when we peel back the doona. You know that noise, Alice calls it the pure comfort noise, it's kind of like if you were to swipe your hand through a vat of aerated cream - HEAVEN. The raspberry velvet cushion is from Bednest as is the bedhead and for a little pattern I added my French Words pillowcases from ChipChop! I need new bedside lamps now that our old ones are out in the lounge room. That is going to be a hard choice but I do have my eye on these from Hyphenate

0 le office (pre workin' it)

I feel the most pressure with this room! How am I going to make it more fresh than before? This is how it's going to stay for a while until inspiration hits me, I am thinking a new rug, maybe zebra cow hide, I can't have amazing-ness above the desk anymore as there's a window (at least I have a nice leafy view out there), Alice suggested a hanging sculpture above the desk, I am feeling that but I am not sure what to make...suggestions?

Stacks remain property of the floor for the moment

Here is the bookshelf I bought for the rear wall, so much vignette-ing to be done! (Freedom Phantom)

0 the hall

I've never had a hall to warrant a hall table so this is a real treat for me (plus an extra space to flex my styling muscles) I imagine this is going to be ever changing, in my head when I was thinking about the table I thought it wouldn't work with the blonde floor boards but seeing it now it makes sense. I had fantasies of painting the mango wood black and white with some graphic pattern but I don't think it needs it, as much as I want to get creative I think I will leave this as is for now...

2 move day

For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you would know that I moved on Saturday. I literally did not stop moving from 7am - 9pm and was brain dead at the end of the day, but it was SO worth it to have everything all done and fresh. Here are a few pics from the day, more to come this week of some finished spaces/vignettes.

We are moving in 24 hours and BOY am I excited. I practically haven't slept for the past week as I've been mentally decorating every square inch of this place. If you are interested, check in with me on Instagram tomorrow for lots of moving in pics!
