I went in to get another little piece of Kelly Wearstler from one of my all time favourite shops, Becker Minty, lucky for me it is literally right underneath one of my besties apartments in Potts Point. Everything in there is gulpingly good, take this bronzed polar bear (above) and Felix Forests Chernobyl series (above and below)

Another new obsession is Dina Broadhurst, I found her on instagram and I'm really inspired by her, she is an artist in Sydney and I have seen her collage works popping up all over the place, notably in last months Real Living mag, this one above is of particular interest to me and I'm looking forward to it becoming available.  Below is her living room, I'm adore her Tom Dixon Void pendant and the self painted wall mural, I love the contrast of the ultra modern in this (what appears to be) deco apartment, don't get me started on the corseted chairs...

As for my latest lustings, these Tom Dixon 100 million year old petrified wood bookends are ALL THAT, this is pretty much the perfect dome from Becker Minty and Dinosaur Designs new flower range is exquisite, don't you think?

I saw my West Elm sofa on Rue Mags insta and fell in love with the styling, especially that trio of vases, perfect!

and lastly a little fashion injection, the Volta bag from Vuitton is beyond, it's a massive pity that it's $4500, oh to have all the money in the world...

There are no words for this bedroom of Miranda Skoczek via The Design Files. The Leila Jeffries photograph, the Moroccan wedding blanket and THAT GOLD URN. How lucky is this lady to have found said urn and how genius of her to have it as a bedside WHATEVER. There's more insanity for your viewing pleasure on TDF if you want to go look. She makes me want Fornasetti real bad.

This diabolical bowl is at Becker Minty right now and I'm having seriously impure thoughts about it. Then I remember I'm having a baby and maybe it's not right to spend that much on a decorative object. Then I think about going to West Elm to satisfy my need with a little accoutrement but really nothing fills a Kelly Wearstler void does it...

So back to the baby, Han and I shot it last weekend, it's a small room so hard to capture it well. I don't want that much fuss in there, all the nurseries I have seen that I have fallen for have been quite minimal, and let's be honest, I'm decorating for me really not the baby. Everything I'm buying I would have bought without being preggers, is that selfish? Hold on here, maybe the baby needs a Kelly Wearstler stone checker dish? A bit of a stretch. Anywho, the nursery will be in the next issue of Adore magazine coming out NEXT WEEK!

I note that I have been lax in my op shopping posts, I think it's because I'm getting more picky. Or maybe because I'm pretty bloody busy right now preparing for bebe, working a big job and trying to keep up my fun creative work. I bought these shelves. I will paint and add tinted perspex (?) and SELL TO YOU! (if you want)

I didn't buy these table bases as I do not need any more tables. If there's anything you ever see me instagram and want me to purch for you ;let me know! Pick up in Sydney only

While I am patiently waiting for my new Bludot Strut desk to arrive (and the office is empty) I have set up shop on the dining table. Lots of space, lovely marble surface and I can see the telly from my seat! Real Housewives while blogging is highly recommended...

Han and I have been shooting some gorgeous rooms for the upcoming Adore Magazine book, here are a few more sneak peeks...

Also, I took a mini break to Jenloan Caves, about 3 hours out of Sydney, I hadn't been there since I was 5 and not much had changed! Highlight of the trip was seeing a Platypus zooming around the limestone lake

I popped in to Fig Interiors where I snapped up this Jemma Sands bracelet...

...and had an impromptu crafting session making a brass knot for shop owner Kate

This glass and lucite side table was hard to walk away from, thinking back on it, I wish I bloody got it! This pair of green velvet chairs would look amazing with a teal or pink makeover

I am always going to be attracted to a vintage chair, add in some rose velvet and I'm sold. Had these sweet little shelves been bigger I would have snapped them up...

Last week was a good mail week, I got a gorgeous bright yellow raku vase from a new gift shop in Cammeray called Feminina, it now sits on my hall table and adds the perfect pop of colour

My lovely friend Hannah from ChipChop! sent me the best EVER iphone cover, get yours here

and as I wasn't able to get to the IKEA launch last week they sent me the cutest package to coincide with their new kitchen range (chocolates already gone). How was your week?
