2 welcome to my place

I was approached by Cosmo Magazine to do a shoot in my home a few months ago for their 'Welcome to my place' feature. It came out at the beginning of this month. Pretty exciting to be in a print mag as big as Cosmo (and having Queen Bey on the cover :) Thanks for having me!

judy aldridge of atlantis home fame (and mother of jane aldridge from sea of shoes) has moved and is sharing some pictures of her beautifully styled new texas home. the tie dyed cushions are heaven and have you ever seen anything like the couch and dining chair fabric? judy has such a keen eye and a real knack for making the unexpected work.

a good looking stack of books from the home of lucy williams of fashion me now as photographed by vanessa jackman for grazia IT - wow, that was a mouthful!! but i like to give credit where credit is due and i loves me some vanessa jackman...wow again, i just realised that i used a collage of lucy's place already when i posted on vanessa! ok, well this is a close up of the coral neckwear/cult book pile that i am obviously very attracted to...plus i just noticed that she has on the zara kimono i wore to my engagement party 

i need to start following this girl's blog pronto!

what does a hogs jaw, a dinosaur and a sparkly miu miu sandal have in common? kelly framel of the famed glamourai blog. recently coveteur'ed framel is part jewellry designer, part stylist and part blogger, and her mission? 'to extol the loveliest things in life' skipping over the boring...for me, i sometimes get the most pleasure out of the mundane...just sayin'

3 house envy: sea of shoes at home

i used to read sea of shoes all the time until interiors became the focus of my life instead of shoes. more recently i was looking through my iphoto and found these pics of Jane Aldridge's (daughter of Judy Aldridge) bedroom makeover. how luxurious is it? full of texture and layers - something i think i would get sick of - i am minimal to the core - but a room i adore nonetheless.
