i need a new friend for my rings (the jordy askill was purchsed years ago and has been reshaped a million times because i keep bending it and the pink gold love band was my engagement ring). i am particularly enamored with the forefinger ring variety and, predictibly, anything gaia repossi (this one please). i am getting a wedding band made this week which is skinny and sparkly in pink gold but i want something that is more costume-y without being costume jewellry because, as luck would have it, anything other than silver or gold tends to explode on my body, even gold plated doesnt work. does anyone have any suggestions?

Hey Claud, depends on budget, but check out Love &Hatred in the Strand.... Also, etsy has some amazing handcrafted sterling silver things. And I've got a couple of rings that are made out of sterling silver teaspoon handles.... Check those out on ebay. Item # 160681403476 will take you to the seller I mean. Ahnh, the journey is half the fun! XxKate
ReplyDeletethanks kate! will definitely check them out x
ReplyDeleteNot so sure what you're after but white gold is beautiful. A friend of mine got her engagement and wedding bands to fit together so that the two rings formed a pattern. The style was a bit classic so it wouldn't date but she chose stones that were very colourful- ruby, emerald, saphire. It was really beautiful. I say always go with something that doesn't date as you'll be wearing it forever! Don't be a slave to fashion! xxCorrina.
ReplyDeleteSome of this stuff is pretty out there, but its the firsth thing that came to mind thinking of precious, costume style.
