this is exciting - a new internet delight to help me fritter away all my money. welcome Hyphenate! this little gem is the creation of Sally Smith, who combined her passions for interior decorating and organisation and turned it into a shop. Having worked in the Interior Design Industry and also a Professional Organiser - her firm belief is that a beautiful home looks more beautiful when it is de-cluttered and organised. i could not agree more Sally. here are my favourites...

1 shop visit: made + felt

shop owner Magda loves what she does and has fun with it, which is why her new shop Made + Felt is so great. Full of colourful accessories and fabrics with the more necessary neutrals, this shop is not easy to walk out of without wanting to re upholster something of your own in one of her amazing fabrics. Magda also offers a full interior design and decorating service so there is not a moment this lady is not super busy consulting, ordering new product, re arranging the shop and looking after 2 kids! She has made me a lampshade and 4 heavenly cushions, somehow i don't think that will be the end...

hannah and i worked with Loni from Adore home magazine to shoot and style this AMAZING shop in Sydney called PAD (passionate about design) design partners Kellie and Olga are a dream team, uber chic women with superior taste culminating in a vast shop full of textiles, bespoke furniture, taxidermy, and other oddities - i am officially hooked on this one. below are some of the shots hannah and i did together for the magazine. click here to read the full feature and see the rest of the pics or, even better, go visit them at 287 young st in Waterloo, Sydney.

2 shop visit: armchair/collective

after a morning of shopping at table tonic, mark tuckey and tiny bird, alice and i went for a bite and more shopping at armchair collective in mona vale on Sydney's northern beaches. alice had a pie and i had a bacon and egg roll which was scrumptious. this place doesn't look like much from the outside but inside is heaven, full of cute eating nooks, lusty ceramics and fabrics, beautiful flowers and lots of armchairs! if you are over that way stop in for lunch, totally worth it...
