7 my place

all pics: HBP

yesterday, Hannah came over and we styled up my place for some delightful little vignettes. in this one above the ostrich eggs were found on ebay, the sisal is from ikea, the fur is llama from peru (bought on a trip with mum a few years ago), the chevron cushion covers are from etsy (Mason Moonbeam), the lamp base was found on a trip to queenstown in new zealand (BF did not enjoy lugging that thing home) and the shade was custom from
in residence in northbridge (cost 4 times more than the lamp). the purple jellyfish paperweight was from the alpha 60 shop on a trip to melbourne and the glass dome over it was a $2 delight from the salvation army on the northern beaches. the antler bowl was my first ever real piece of homewares. i saw it in a vogue and when i went to buy it from chee soon and fitzgerald in surry hills they asked if i minded the only one available was the one used in the vogue shoot! did i mind? me thinks not.

the mirrored hall table was from domayne about 4 years ago, the glass vessel was a gift (TY AHS), the sand from balmoral beach (because you really needed to know that) and the ostrich egg is, again, from ebay. the photo is of my mum and dad when they were young-uns and i just realised how dusty the table is! great...

a little tessellated montage for your viewing pleasure...(thanks little AHS for your contribution to the tessellation)

philip starck ghost chair from space furniture, bag witchery and bottines country road. hermes haul to come - don't get too excited, just accessories...

thanks again H for a fun day - go team

Gorgeous shots! Your apartment looks fabulous! Looking forward to see what you've bought in the Hermes boxes. I've just started reading your blog via Table Tonic. I read all the archives! You have great taste. I think I need you and Hannah to style up my new house when it's finished. xo
